  Do you need help in finding your bearings? We are happy to assist you in selecting a city district and provide advice and support during your search for accommodation. We recommend that you contact the University Guest House directly well before you arrive in Hamburg. We also recommend you contact International Housing.
• Start-up assistance for families
  We would be happy to provide you with information about childcare centers, the Hamburg Kita voucher system, and schools as well as career opportunities in Hamburg for your spouse or partner.
• Stadt Hamburg
  Hamburg offers a broad range of leisure activities and we can provide you with information on cultural and sporting activities and events in the city.
• Hamburg Welcome Center
  The service for newly appointed scholars cooperates closely with the city's Hamburg Welcome Center (HWC). We can arrange an appointment with our colleagues at the Hamburg Welcome Center for you. The HWC's friendly staff can provide you with comprehensive infomation and assist newcomers from abroad with all the necessary paperwork.
