Are you a newcomer or transferee and your new workspace at Universität Hamburg awaits? We hold the key to unlock your door to a successful future!

Central Access Control (Schließanlagenverwaltung) is in charge of most building and property access authorizations for the University. This includes traditional metal keys as well as transponder keys (electronic key systems). The university buildings are equipped with electronic lock systems that ensure the highest degree of data security by means of a separate server and an autonomous subnet. The systems allow for quick and web-based transmission of any changes.

How to return your key

You must drop off your key in person at the your front office. You will be issued a key return receipt.

What should I do if I lose my key?

Please complete the Lost or stolen key(s) form (PDF)
and submit it to your front office.
Your front office will schedule a pickup date, at which time you will be handed your key and asked to confirm its receipt with your signature.
