Instructions for Digital Transponder Request
You need to submit a digital transponder request form from the Staff Service Portal to obtain a transponder to open doors in properties supervised by Section 82.
The request procedure involves the following steps:
1. User submits request.
Your request must be submitted at the link provided above. Please note that a request for a transponder made by any other means cannot be processed. Access authorization can only be provided when it can be assigned to a specific door. Programming of the transponder is not possible if it refers to other individuals or to a building.
2. Supervisor grants permission.
The digital transponder request will then be automatically forwarded to the supervisor responsible. The supervisor must then release the request for further handling.
3. The person responsible for handling keys grants permission.
Once the transponder request has been granted, the person responsible for handling keys forwards it to the respective property manager. Those responsible for handling keys have been appointed by the faculty management and are listed in our system. Only after the request has been granted by key handlers can it be fully processed and your transponder programmed by the service team in Section 82.
Note: Technical and administrative staff only require permission from their supervisors.
4. Programming by the service team and picking up the transponder
Finally, your transponder will be programmed by the service team. You will receive official notice including a QR code and details about where and when you can pick up your transponder. Please make sure you keep this mail and bring it with you, digitally or as a print out, when you pick up your transponder. If you do not have this with you, we will not issue the transponder.
