The Center for Health and Workplace Cooperation (Beratungszentrum für Gesundheit und Zusammenarbeit, BGZ) offers advice and counseling for all employees of the University of Hamburg in their various roles and functions.

If your ability to work suffers from professional and/or private stress, we provide solution-oriented counseling to maintain or restore your ability to work.
The BGZ comprises:
- Occupational Health Management
- Conflict Prevention and Resolution
- Psychosocial Advising and Addiction Prevention
- WORKING TOGETHER FOR OUR COMMON HEALTH—Fostering workplace health and safety analysis
- Return-to-Work Program (BEM)
