New hiring procedure
A new hiring procedure is gradually being introduced at Universität Hamburg. This uniform process will be coordinated by HR Services.
In the new procedure you will only need to submit one single request for both the job advertisement or advertisement waiver and the employment request. As part of the online workflow, your request passes through all of the required channels within HR Services without you having to contact each responsible area separately.
The new hiring procedure does not apply for student employees yet. You will still need to submit a recruitment or employment continuation request as usual.
Responsible HR advisors/coordinators
Civil servants, acting professors, visiting scholars with a contract with Universität Hamburg, and interim lecturers
